Welcome to my 'about me' page,

 

My name is Theodoor, and I am the passionate designer behind everything you see and encounter on this website.

In addition to my creative hobbies, I work as a satisfied sales advisor in an E-Bike store. I am also a hobbyist DJ in the hard dance scene, with a love for techno and early styles, and I design unique LEGO creations.

My love for drawing started at a young age. As a little boy, pencils were my best friends. My first creations were simple figures like Winnie the Pooh or Tigger. It didn’t take long before my interests shifted to anime. Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z became my new sources of inspiration, as 7- or 8-year-old me dreamed of becoming the world’s greatest Pokémon master or a heroic powerhouse saving the universe!

During my teenage years, I decided to further pursue my passion and chose to study media design. This journey began at Drenthe College and concluded at the Graphic Lyceum. During this time, I focused on realistic drawing and developing digital designs, particularly vector art. Although I didn’t pursue art professionally after my studies, it has always remained a valuable hobby. Occasionally, I take on assignments for friends and acquaintances, such as portraits, Formula 1 cars as surprise gifts, or creating brand designs. One example is the branding I developed for Pizzeria La Milano in Roden.

My style is characterized by a strong focus on detail and realism. I find it important for a portrait to appear vibrant and for a flower to radiate strength and color. In many of my personal designs, I notice a chic style that continues to inspire me.

In the future, I dream of designing and living in my own castle. It would be a unique blend of classic architecture and modern construction techniques—the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. This dream represents the ultimate fusion of my love for creativity and design.
